Hello and welcome to our website. Old Ignatians Cricket Club is a five team club (as of the 2007-08 season) playing sub-district cricket on the north shore of Sydney, Australia. We have many former students of St Ignatius' College, Riverview making up a large number of our members, although being a cricket enthusiast is probably a more important criteria. We cater for cricketers of all standards and the club is all about playing cricket in an enjoyable environment.

MASTERS CRICKET In 2007 we welcome a newly formed Masters Over Forty's Team . The team plays limited over games every second Sunday on turf wickets. If you are interested in playing please contact us. For more information click here.
SENIOR TEAMS We currently field Four additional teams in the Northern Suburbs Cricket Association (NSCA). A number of years ago the NSCA merged with the Gordon District Junior Cricket Association and now represents all sub-district cricket north of Syndney harbour. Since 2002-03 Old Ignatians Cricket Club has been the reigning club champions and won numerous premierships. These results have cemented our position as the premier sub-district cricket club on Sydney's north shore.
TRAINING (Non Compulsory) We train on wednesdays from 5:30pm till dark at the 2nd field nets of St Ignatius' College, Riverview. Additional training may be organised prior to day-light savings. Please refer to this section for updates.
NEXT TRAINING Nothing organised yet
SEASON & MATCHES Our season typically comprises 7 limited overs matches and 7 two dayers, however we do have a number of teams that play all limited over matches. These games are played on the Saturdays (and some Sundays) starting after the October long weekend, with our final concluding on the weekend prior to Easter.
Matches are played from 1pm till 5:30pm on grounds located across the lower north shore of Sydney. All these factors mean we avoid the worst elements of shires and grade cricket; the early starts, frequent washouts, committing a whole weekend to playing, and long trips to far flung corners of the city.
